Red Car Tasting

For 20 years, Red Car has been making some of the best Pinot in California. In 2009, Wine Spectator named Red Car the “Best Ever California Pinot Noir.” After a recent trip to their tasting room in Sebastopol, Thom and I agree!
We will be tasting two wines with Red Car’s winemaker, Tanner Scheer (the guy in the photo). Tanner worked at some of California’s top wineries before finding his way to Red Car in 2015. He’s a purist in his winemaking, and you will taste the difference.
Your tasting kit includes:
2016 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. I’m not a big Chard drinker and I love this Chard. Likely because it features some of the coolest Chardonnay vineyards in California.
2016 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Red Car’s speciality. This is a perfect blend of Red Car’s best cool-climate vineyards in Fort Ross, Freestone and Occidental.
If you select cheese pairings, we will deliver two custom Point Reyes Cheese Co. cheeses to your door.
